Of standard configuration throughout. Unmarked barrel in good condition, with surface freckling. Lock with surface freckling en suite with barrel, stamped "A.H. Waters & CO Milbury MASS" with eagle. CONDITION: Walnut stock with some wear and a few marks. Crack forming ahead of front of lock plate on right side. Action is excellent. Bore is good. Most "flat lock" Waters have the side plug holding the nipple. The cone-type on the barrel of this example is much rarer. From the Robert Sadler Collection.
