Rare, beautiful, and vintage 16 bore French browned Damascus 29-1/4" side by side barrels. Matted concave rib reads "Grand Prix Exp on Unionville 1889" (Grand Prize of World's Fair 1889) in gold. Peninsula engraved pinfire hammer locks engraved with makers name "A. Valence". Gold floral inlay and surrounding light floral scroll. Unique dual under lever bottom action and forearm with light floral scroll engraving and gold inlay matching peninsula locks. Ornately carved stock with finely checkered long grip and steel buttplate. Barrel and stock both fitted with loops for sling. St. Etienne black powder proofs. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels retain 90% plus of their brown with slight handling marks. Stock has been refreshed, still with some slight marks. CP
