Allen & Wheelock .32 rimfire side hammer revolver serial number 630 with civil war inscription to "LT, Hamilton 119 Regt NyNy". 3-3/4" octagon barrel, single action operation with two piece numbers matching walnut grips. The 119th New York Reg't saw extensive combat throughout the Shenandoah valley as well as Gettysburg. From 1862 until June 1865 they fought in almost every major conflict in Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee and into South Carolina and Georgia. Additional research is needed and would probably found to be very fruitful. CONDITION: Good with a dove grey patina overall. Grips are very good with generous amounts of original varnish remaining. Bore and chambers are very good with strong rifling. Action operates properly.
