Unsigned Bedford County style flintlock rifle with "LS" barrel maker's stamp on rear flat. Full octagon barrel with rifle sights. Maslin marked flintlock with turned front trigger and rear set. Curly maple full stock with Bedford style raised carving behind the cheekpiece and gridoon carving in front of locks. Four German silver inlays with engraved eagle on cheekpiece inlay. Brass furniture including engraved sideplate and line engraved brass four piece patchbox with release in toe and seven piercings. Original hardwood ramrod. CONDITION: Overall nice aged patina on metal surfaces. Replaced flintlock with triggers having a cocking issue. Wood has been cleaned and there is a crack at the toe measuring approximately 2". Barrel appears to be original length.
