Unique child's rifle attributed to the Hess family of Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Plain maple stock with typical reddish finish. Two piece line engraved patchbox and line engraved toeplate. Brass furniture. Octagon barrel with rifle sights. Fahnestock marked flintlock with single trigger control. CONDITION: Overall good with nice patina. Lock is a reconversion with some slight corrosion. Wood has good finish with some small handling marks. Mechanically functions.
