Lot consists of (A) Long Flemish flintlock holster pistol by Johann Behr Maastricht and Liege, 1690-1740, and so signed on lock I.BEHR. Barrel has sighting rib chiseled at breech along with a female face. CONDITION: Slightly worn condition, with some staining. The stepped lock with line engraving, swan neck cock, plain frizzen, brass furniture with pierced side plate, lions, and screaming human. Thumb piece with female figure, spurred butt cap with grotesque mask pommel and portrait masks on either side. Molded figured fruitwood full stock. Two brass ramrod pipes. CONDITION: Stock quite crisp for a pistol of this age. Action is good. Bore is fair. One small chip from stock at muzzle. Ramrod replaced. (B) Flintlock of boxlock type. Heavy round barrel with ring midway. Breech is signed LONDON on either side in script. No visible British proofs. Frame with sparse engraving. Steel trigger guard with sparse engraving en suite. Plain hammer and frizzen. Checkered walnut bag butt. CONDITION: Action is crisp. Bore is fair. A large and interesting box lock flintlock. (C) The 1822 t-bis of standard configuration, serial number 6450 on barrel and stock. CONDITION: Action is crisp. Bore is poor. Missing ramrod. In fair original condition throughout.
