Rare Wells Fargo model. 3" octagonal barrel with 2-line address on the top flat of the barrel, "ADDRESS SAML COLT / NEW YORK CITY", "COLTS PATENT" on the left side of the frame. 5 shot cylinder with a stage coach holdup scene. Small brass trigger guard and brass back strap. Varnished wood 1-piece grip. Matching numbers on the barrel, frame, trigger guard, backstrap, cylinder and grip. CONDITION: Wedge screw is broken off. The trigger guard has been reshaped. The gun has no finish and has turned to an even brown patina. Dark bore with frosting in the lands and grooves. Grip is worn from use and has a small chip on the right side. REW
