Manufactured in 1861. Made for a shoulder stock, type III. Round barrel with loading lever mounted below, six shot rebated cylinder, steel percussion frame with screw for stock lug on each side, brass triggerguard and steel gripstraps, later brass notch sight attached to breech of barrel, walnut grips with cartouche on left side. Good condition, barrel and lug retaining brown patina with scatter marks from use and reproduction replaced wedge and wedge screw marred, cylinder has traces of cylinder scene and steel frame retains a gray patina with scatter marks from use, some screws marred with some scattered pitting, triggerguard has been polished, steel gripstrap has been cleaned, grips show heavy wear and scattered marks from use.
