This is an assembled and refinished W. Stokes Kirk Co. revolver. Much like Bannerman's, they were a mail order company that bought large quantities of military surplus and offered these rebuilt guns in their catalog, which began in Philadelphia in 1874. Most of the markings are polished off and the numbers are mismatched but all are original parts. Standard features include blued round barrel, rebated cylinder, brass trigger guard, steel backstrap, and one piece walnut grips. CONDITION: Barrel is a drifting soft blue. No colors on frame. Colt's patent no longer visible. No visible scene. Fine action. Fine clean bore.
