Colt Model 1878 shotgun. Serial number 19031, manufactured in 1885. 32" Damascus 10 gauge barrels. Deluxe figured checkered walnut stock and forearm with round knob pistol grip. Original black hard rubber buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent overall. Strong Damascus pattern on barrels with 75-80% original brown finish. Traces of original case colors on frame. Wood is excellent showing moderate wear. Bores are bright. Action is tight and crisp. -MKS-
