Last patent date on this revolver is 1888. Standard commercial revolver from the Army/Navy series. Colt's first swing-out revolver. Features six shot, fluted cylinder, blued finish and Colt monogrammed black grips. CONDITION: Gun has some spotted age freckling. Blue on cylinder has thinned to 80% mixed with soft, brown patina. Straps are patina. Nice blue on trigger guard. Generous amounts of fire blue on trigger. Grips are excellent with one small chip at left rear heel. Indexes and locks up fine. Near mint bore. Nice, high condition, far better than average 1892 Commercial.
