Manufactured in 1894 with 26" barrel chambered in .38-55 Winchester Center Fire with blade front sight, full length magazine tube, and rifle rear sight. 2-piece plain walnut stock and forearm complete with rifle forearm cap and rifle buttplate. CONDITION: Very good, with barrel and magazine tube retaining a vast majority of their thinning old reapplied blue finish with areas of light freckling and wear at high edges. Frame is mostly a gray patina with areas of heavy cleaning and freckling. Stock and forearm are very good as lightly sanded with small areas of wood filler at top and bottom tangs. Mechanically fine. Shootable, lightly frosted bore with visible rifling.
