Made by Falisse and Trappmann in Liege, Belgium. Percussion locked rifled musket with blade front sight and notched rear. Lock is marked "Liege F&T 1861" Octagon to round barrel with "FT" proof mark. Walnut musket stock with three iron bands and iron hardware. Iron ramrod. Similar to muskets exported from Europe for use in the American Civil War. CONDITION: Metal parts have worn to a silvery patina. Wood shows an oil soaked finish with usage marks and dings. Mechanically solid and functions fine. DLM
