Elegant double barrel percussion Howdah pistol in 16 Ga,/.65 Caliber. Marked F. Barnes London on center rib and English proofed on underside of barrels. Nicely figured Damascus twist pattern on barrels. Checkered oil finished walnut pistol grip handle with single wedge retainer. Swivel ramrod, double trigger and engraved steel butt cap with trap for percussion caps. CONDITION: Very good with strong Damascus pattern visible. Locks operate properly. Walnut stocks are slightly worn with a small shrinkage crack above wedge on right side. Very attractive and presents itself wonderfully. This would surely keep large predators both two and four-legged from harming the owner. TDW
