Made from 1861 through 1874. These were very popular sidearms during the Civil War. This revolver features high polish factory blue finish, case color hammer, square butt rosewood grips, and octagon barrel with rib. CONDITION: The barrel and cylinder retains a minimum of 97% factory blue with some minor age freckling and the frame would have been the same but there is an area on right side approximately 1-1/2" where finish has turned soft patina. Near mint grips. Bore is mirror bright. This gun saw little to no use. A fine collector quality example.
