Typical mixed batch of numbered US Colt cavalry revolver parts that were assembled after 1890 from recall in which parts were changed and barrels were all cut to length of 5 1/2". Parts include; RAC 132318 inspected frame, Ainsworth 5502 trigger-guard, #665? back-strap, #7630 Ainsworth barrel stamp, #6915 Ainsworth cylinder. Right and left grip have visible but illegible cartouche. The one piece varnished grips have the name C.H. Lewis carved into right panel. CONDITION: 40% original blue remains on barrel. Cylinder is a smooth blue/brown patina. Case colors have darkened. Indexes and locks up correctly. Fine bore. There is a repaired crack on right grip panel. If you have some time, researching CH Lewis might add value.
