Superposed false rifled barrels attached to boxlock signed on left side "Jones" and right side "London", both enclosed in a stand of arms. Boxlock with simple line engraving and "1" on left side next to top barrel. Normal British proofs. Push on safety that also interrupts pan, engraved with florals. Boxlock with two sections of florals, double beaded edge trigger guard with floral. Tap action selects between firing top barrel only or both barrels. English flat side stocks with several impressions on right side and bottom, and what appears to be vice marks on both sides. CONDITION: Very good as refinished. Barrels with a more recent application of bluing, of which is still retains the vast majority. Action has been cleaned in the European fashion over old oxidation with some age staining. One screw on bottom of boxlock has been damaged and cracked. One chip out of right side stock, which has been lightly sanded and refinished. Action works appropriately including the tap action selector, bores are excellent with some darkness. EW
