J.N. Reece worked in Springfield, Illinois from 1879 -1885. This cape gun has back action locks with double triggers. Round side by side barrels with rifle sights. Walnut stock with German silver capbox. Both lock and barrels are signed "J.N. Reece". Stock has iron furniture with German silver entry pipe. Steel ramrod with brass tip. CONDITION: Overall good patina with no breaks or repairs and is mechanically sound.
