Late production second model London Colt Model 1851 Navy percussion revolver manufactured circa 1856-1857. It features a blued .36 caliber 6" octagon barrel with "(Crown)/V" and "(Crown)/P" proofs on left flat, "ADDRESS COL. COLT LONDON" barrel address, brass pin front sight, 6-shot cylinder with "(Crown)/V)" proofs and naval engagement scene, steel grips straps and trigger guard, and smooth walnut 1-piece grips. CONDITION: Very good. Retains traces or original finish with balance an attractive dove gray patina. Crisp markings, excepting proofs on left barrel flat, which are rather faint. Cylinder scene light but visible. Grips good with some marks and moderate wear. Very good bore with strong rifling. Fine mechanics. Numbers matching on barrel, frame, cylinder, cylinder post, trigger guard, grip strap, and wedge. BAS
