Lot consists of: (A) Unmarked screw barrel muff type percussion pistols made circa 1840. Most likely European in origin. Blued half round half octagon screw off type barrels with percussion action walnut wood two piece grips and iron furniture. CONDITION: Overall metal turning to a brown patina. Barrels are frozen on action with good mechanics. Good grips with traces of original finish. (B) English-made unmarked screw barrel muff pistol pair made circa 1840. Blued faceted barrels with floral engraved brass frames with percussion actions. Fine checkered walnut grips with silver thumb piece and silver Lion's head butt inlay. Comes in oak fitted case with porcelain cap box and lead balls with key possibly newer than the guns. CONDITION: Overall good condition with unpolished brass. No visible restoration or repairs. Shootable bores with good mechanics. DLM
