Lot consists of: (A) British flintlock pistol made circa 1800 with original flint lock marked "H. NOCK". 8" octagon .62 caliber smoothbore barrel marked "LONDON" with British Proofs and "H 137" (possibly a museum number or rack number). Walnut plain stock with iron hardware and silver thumbpiece. (B) English flintlock screw barrel .50 caliber rifled pistol marked "YOUNG" with flag and military drum scene engraved on sides of action. Walnut plain stock with unique folding bayonet with sliding trigger guard bayonet lock. CONDITION: Both in fine original condition with metal parts starting to fade to a silvery patina with traces of original varnish. Both have shootable bores and strong mechanics. A unique period pairing of gentleman's pistols. DLM
