Lot consists of: (A) Prince & Green London, superimposed percussion .57 caliber Howdah pistol with swivel rammer. 1-piece checkered walnut grip with dual back action locks marked "PRINCE & GREEN LONDON". Locks are engraved in tight scrolls with chiseled rope border chasing the outer edges. The over-under barrels are English proofed on left side, with matching engraving at breech with same border at muzzles. Double trigger with engraved trigger guard and engraved trap butt. CONDITION: Very good as refinished. Bores are bright and action operates properly. Stocks are very good with several minor bruises and scratches. (B) Probably English production for export sale, over/under .60 caliber rifled flint lock Howdah pistol with turn barrel mechanism. No makers markings or proofs are evident. Flintlock operation with smooth walnut stocks and brass furniture. Cannon pattern barrels with wedding bands at breech and 1/3 point of barrels with brass blade front sights. CONDITION: Good as found and uncleaned. Action operates properly. Bores are dark with defined visible rifling. Stocks are good as refinished. Exterior of barrels are lightly pitted. TDW
