Lot consists of (A) First Model Dragoon, standard features such as oval cylinder stops with Ranger scene, brass squareback trigger guard and backstrap with varnished one-piece walnut grips. The left side of frame has the US stamp. The barrel measures 7 1/2" and caliber is .44. G&K inspector stamps present. All serial numbers match. Rifling is fine and action works correctly. CONDITION: The revolver has no original finish and is now an aged gray soft patina with traces of plating on back-strap. Grips are aged as well. There is a light crack on inner grip strap. (B) Second Model Dragoon is almost a match to the above gun, matching numbers, no finish, US stamped with inspector stamps. CONDITION: The presence of some pitting can be found on frame. The rifling is gone, polished out, with some pitting.
