Lot consists of (A) Percussion half stock rifle with 34" .36 caliber rifled barrel signed in script "E. Fisher" Blade front sight with low buckhorn pattern rear sight. Goulcher produced and marked late production percussion lock. Double set triggers with small teardrop oval patchbox of nickel silver with pewter forend tip and several small white metal inlays. Late 1850's period manufacture. CONDITION: Very good and appears untouched, bore is dark and action and triggers operate properly. Stock has typical burnout around drum and numerous small compressions, scratches, and a very minor shrinkage crack to rear of lock. (B) Very accomplished Contemporary Flintlock long rifle. .50 caliber 40" swamped barrel with full length tiger maple stock with three rod fullers and attractively carved stock with brass furniture and double set triggers. Lock appears to be an L&R but not positive. CONDITION: Very fine with excellent bore and smooth properly operating action. Gun has a few minor scratches from display use but appears to be as near new. TDW
