Lot consists of: A) Half stock back action percussion muzzleloader marked on the lock and on the barrel "J. Kemp". He worked in Chicago, Illinois circa 1851-1856. Walnut stock with pewter nose cap and German silver furniture. Back action lock with single trigger control. Heavy octagon barrel with rifle sights. Hardwood ramrod. B) Percussion Kentucky style rifle marked "W.NOGGLE" on barrel. He worked in New Burlington, Ohio circa 1840-1860. Full octagon rifled barrel with notched rear sight and blade front. Percussion lock made by "H&W Carey Xenia, Ohio" controlled by double set triggers. Full curly maple stock with brass hardware and "poor boy" style butt. Hardwood ramrod. CONDITION: A) Metal turning a plum patina. Wood has several breaks along forestock and is in need of repair with some of the wood missing making the stock loose. Mechanically sound with trigger needing some work. B) Overall aged patina with light pitting on metal surfaces. Stock has wrist repair and has been cleaned. Triggers are a little bit sticky. DLM
