Lot consists of: Two guns with Damascus barrels, checkered walnut stocks and forearms, Prince of Wales style grips, and double triggers and extractors. CONDITION: Both guns are good overall. Bores are bright with light abrasion. Only traces of original finish remaining. Overall a grey/brown patina. Actions are fairly tight. Wood shows moderate to heavy wear. Shouldn't be trusted firing modern loads, probably should be retired and admired hung on the gun room wall. -MKS- CORRECTION: Upon further review, there is an area of the right side of the wrist near the cocking lever where there is evidence of repair and possibly splice. Additionally, someone has used a file of some kind of remove a 3 - 1/2" section of machine matting.
