Lot consists of: Pair of General Ulysses S. Grant and Robert E. Lee 1851 Navy Models in their original walnut display cases with accessories. Has a pair of non-gun frame wall displays that features two replica Colt pocket percussion revolvers set against their respective flags and with respective generals, Grant and Lee, and respective belt buckles. These displays were hand put together and will not fire and are being sold as Civil War memorabilia. The Grant and Lee set were made in 1971 based on the newly introduced 1851 Navy. Each came in its own presentation walnut box. When opened, they have the grey lining for Confederate and blue lining for Union. They are completely outfitted. The Grant has a bag flask while the Lee has a cannon and flag flask, both made by Dixon, England. Comes with a percussion cap tin, brass two cavity mold, nipple wrench. CONDITION: Both are built on the reintroduced 1851 Navy with blue and case coloring and wood grips. The Lee edition is printed Robert E. Lee on left side of barrel with nickel plated small round trigger guard. Both revolvers feature the naval scene cylinder with blued octagon barrel. The Grant edition is nearly identical to the Lee edition with the exception of Ulysses S. Grant's name replacing Lee's on the barrel and possessing a silver plated square back trigger guard. Both of the boxes are in excellent condition. Super set in unfired condition along with the two decorative pieces making for a very nice Civil War display.
