Ballard No. 1 - 1/2 Hunter's rifle with full round 30" barrel chambered in .45-70 Gov. caliber. Second barrel same as first, but not numbered to the gun. Blue with case hardened receiver, lever, and hammer. Plain straight grip walnut stock. CONDITION: Good overall. No original finish remaining on metal, appears that someone has began polishing to bare metal for restoration. Wood shows minimum wear, however the butt stock is cracked on both sided of the wrist. Bore in original barrel is dark, second replacement barrel is near mint. Would make a good project gun in a desirable caliber. -MKS-
