Standard mid-war Colt Army revolver with single action, six shot and matching serial numbers on frame, barrel, cylinder, backstrap, trigger guard and wedge. Several US inspector stamps about the gun. Cut for shoulder stock. One piece walnut grips. Brass trigger guard and steel backstrap. CONDITION: 70% naval cylinder scene. Barrel shows sharp legends but metal is basically brown patina. Bore shows strong rifling and action is crisp. This is a nice example of a Gettysburg era revolver that saw use.
