Starr Model 1858 Double Action Army Revolver. Made late 1850-early 1860's. Total production, approximately 23,000. 6" round barrel. .44 caliber percussion. Blue with case hardened, hammer, trigger, and lever. 1-piece walnut grips. Faint inspector cartouches visible on both sides at the butt. Government inspection marks found on all proper locations. CONDITION: Good with no original finish remaining, overall a gunmetal grey patina. Bore is fine with moderate abrasions. Action functions however lever does not depress trigger properly. Grips are good, showing heavy wear. -MKS-
