German made percussion smoothbore musket marked "Neisse 1843" on the lock. Smoothbore barrel dated 1843 with single front sight. Walnut wood stock with brass three barrel bands and brass hardware. Comes with metal ramrod and socket style triangular bayonet. Gun could have been imported for use in the Civil War. CONDITION: Overall good patina with usage marks. Mechanically solid and functions fine. DLM
