Manufactured in 1862, with a total production run estimated at 6,000. Martially marked with a "PS" on the left side of the barrel, left side of the frame, in front of the cylinder, and on the cylinder. There is a "J" and a "B" on the left side of the frame behind the cylinder. You can see the inspector's mark on the lower part of the left grip. German silver cone front sight. 2-line address on the top flat of the octagonal barrel. Brass trigger guard and a 6-shot cylinder with safety notches at the rear of the cylinder. 2-piece wood grip panels. CONDITION: Gun has turned an even brown patina showing the usual amount of dings and dents scattered across the gun. Dark bore with frosting in the lands and grooves. Wood grip panels show wear and some handling marks. REW
