1882 vintage Winchester Model 1876, serial number 31358. 26" half octagon to round barrel. Half length button magazine tube. Chambered in .45-75. Blue with case hardened lever, hammer, and forearm cap. Plain straight grain walnut stock and forearm. Steel shotgun style buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent restored, with 93% reapplied blue and case colors remaining. Wood shows little wear since refinishing. Bore is bright. Action is tight and crisp. Accompanying the rifle is a Winchester Museum Letter documenting configuration. -MKS-
