Standard configuration with belt hook on the left side. 1828 dated. Original flint. 3,000 of these were made, many were converted to percussion during the years leading up to the Civil War. CONDITION: Retains a pleasing patina overall, some areas of minor pitting. All markings are clear. Wood has some dings and handling marks, very minor chip missing from the front of the lockplate. Good cartouche on the left side of the stock. Bore has some light pitting. Fine mechanical function. From the Robert Sadler Collection. GR
