1858 dated lock. Long range rear sight. Rifled bore. Cartouched on the left side of the stock. Brass nose cap and lock screw escutcheons. CONDITION: Gun retains a pleasing patina overall, lock markings are nice and clear and sharp. Barrel has moderate pitting overall, no visible markings or date. Buttplate has moderate pitting. Wood is very good with some age cracks and handling marks. Lock function is sharp and crisp with strong spring tension. Bore has visible rifling with pitting. GR
