Starr Arms Company double action Model 1858 Army revolver. Serial number 13240. Manufactured between 1858-early 1860's with a total production of approximately 23,000. 6" round barrel, 6-shot cylinder chambered in .44 caliber percussion. Blue with case hardened hammer and loading lever. 1-piece walnut grips. CONDITION: Fine overall. Approximately 10-15% original, scattered blue with balance a brown patina. Traces of original case color on lever and hammer. Bore is dark. Action is tight. Grips are excellent showing moderate wear with scattered dings and scratches. -MKS-
