Manufactured in 1865. This lovely revolver retains nearly 100% of its original finish on barrel, frame, back strap and cylinder with few if any blemishes. Cylinder seam light due to high polishing. Loading lever has much original bright case colors. Hammer has much original, somewhat bright, case colors. Hammer screw is missing one half of its head. Take down screw with marring. Other frame screws are nearly perfect, as is butt screw. Varnished walnut grips retain nearly 100% of their original varnish with only extremely minor marks. Bright muzzle with minor corrosion. Mahogany case is excellent, eagle flask retains much original lacquer and gilding to top and spout. Proper Colt mold has some original blue remaining. Other accessories include cleaning rod, key, screwdriver and Eley cap tin. CORRECTION: Barrel length is 3-1/2".
