Standard gun made at Harper's Ferry in 1837. Pin fastened barrel bands. Original flint. Original ram rod. CONDITION: Very fine with most of the original brown finish on the barrel, bands and trigger guard. Breech block has a good amount of finish. Markings are sharp and clear. Bore has sharp 16 groove rifling, being properly counterbored for the first 1 - 1/2" at the muzzle. Chamber of breech block is bright and sharp. Wood has some light dings and handling marks. Fine mechanical function. GR
