30" dovetail lump barrels with single blued front sight on tapered matted concave rib. Light floral engraving over breech and at rear of rib. Tubes engraved "W & C SCOTT & SON THE PREMIER QUALITY (W&C Scott Tower logo) PATENT TRIPLEX LEVER GRIP" and "10 Gt CASTLE STREET REGENT CIRCUS LONDON". Barrel flats with British proofs and "NOT FOR BALL" stamp. Splinter forearm with W&C Scott push-button release. Exterior metal engraved with scroll, including tip. Strikers with gas vents cut into breech face. Sideplates with long tail and Crystal cocking indicators. Well engraved with scenes of ducks, snipes, pheasant, quail, scroll, and cranes. Action flats with patent information, British proofs. Double set triggers in flat bottom profile trigger guard. Automatic safety. English style straight grip stock with point pattern checkering at wrist. One brass shield at top of wrist and brass oval at toe line both engraved with "C - D". Smokey figured stock with black liner spacer and red rubber recoil pad. Housed in a leather maker's case with "W. CECIL HARRIS" embossed on lid and with W&C Scott Trade label in lid. CONDITION: Very good as rehabilitated. Barrels have been reblacked with softening to legends and a few spots of silver through the blue. Forearm is very good with some small chips and pings and a layer of varnish. Receiver is very good with some flashes of case colors in protected areas, balance silver. Stock is very good with a minimum of field use marks and a few small areas of wood fill. Action works appropriately, with ghost in rib. Bores are very good but appear to have been polished. Case with normal age related distress. A nice Premier quality shotgun. EW
