Winchester Model 1885 Low Wall rifle made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1888. 26" octagon blued No. 1 weight Winchester Steel barrel in .32 Short with Winchester 2-line address, blade front sight, and adjustable rear sight. Blued solid frame action with plain trigger. Plain walnut stock with crescent steel buttplate and walnut splinter forearm with ebony inlay. CONDITION: Metal shows 95% remaining of a total reblue with some slight discoloration on right side of action. Wood has traces of original finish with light coat of oil and some usage dings and marks. Pitted throat with visible rifling. Good mechanics. Would make an excellent gun to reline. DLM
