Standard 1873 Saddle Ring Carbine in .44 caliber, one of the all time classic Old West rifles. Features round barrel, full magazine, twin bands, walnut stocks, carbine butt, saddle ring and stud, blue finish, post front sight, and single standing rear blade sight. CONDITION: Smooth, all brown patina with readable legends. Stocks are proud to metal with wear, but clean with no cracking and far better than most. Well defined rifling but residue and powder ring present. A well used but handsome example of the most recognizable gun of Old West lore.
