This was a tremendous high grade gun when new. The Damascus barrels have concave rib with makers name and address on top and small brass front bead. The wedge fastened forend with horn tip is checkered in point pattern with engraved iron. Action is fully engraved in beautiful scroll and has various animals engraved including a well done large stag on the bottom of the action. Dog ear hammers are fully engraved. Jones Rotary underlever opener. Trigger guard with steel flare is also scroll engraved. Replacement buttstock with straight grip and tear drop behind action with fully engraved steel buttplate. A great restock. Housed in a modern green canvas, leather appointed case with green felt interior. CONDITION: Very good as partially restored. Barrels with traces of original pattern remaining. Action has turned gray. Replacement buttstock and forearm and excellent with nearly all custom finish remaining. Bores with frosting throughout and scattered dents. Case is excellent.
