Over/under percussion Kentucky rifle/shotgun made by William Craig of Allegheny, Pennsylvania circa 1867. 35" octagonal .38 caliber rifled barrel stamped "W. CRAIG ALLEGHENY, PA." over 28 gauge smoothbore octagon barrel with twin hardwood ramrods mounted in iron ferrules between barrels on each side. Back action percussion locks with double set triggers marked "Josh Golcher". Plain walnut stock with brass oval patchbox and brass furniture. CONDITION: Overall good with metal fading to a brown patina. Brass has mellow gold patina with stock showing traces of original finish with light usage marks and dings. Dark but good bores with functioning mechanics.
