Lot consists of (A) Smith & Wesson "Victory Model" .38 special double action revolver. Serial number SV754152. Small letter "S" stamped above the rear sideplate screw, designating one of approximately 40,000 ordered by the U.S. Navy during World War II with an improved hammer block. Left side of top strap marked "U S PROPERTY". 4" barrel with full radius fixed blade front and square notched rear sights. Parkerized finish with case hardened trigger and hammer. Smooth two piece walnut grips. Lanyard mounted to the butt. CONDITION: Excellent plus, with 96-97% parkerized finish remaining. Bore is bright. Action is crisp. Grips show little wear. (B) Smith & Wesson No. 1, 2nd issue, serial number 31172 manufactured from 1860-1868. Tip-up frame, chambered in .22 RF Short. Birds head two piece rosewood grips. CONDITION: Professionally refinished with 97% reapplied blue remaining. Bore has moderate abrasion. Grips are excellent, showing minimum wear. -MKS-
