Lot consists of: (A) Remington Model 1871 rolling block carbine with 1901 patent date. Gun was made for export to South America and crest of nation is on stock. Gun has blued barrel with case hardened receiver. Saddle ring stud and carbine style walnut stock with sling swivels. Comes with leather sling. CONDITION: Overall good with 60% barrel blue. Action wore to silvery patina. Wood has visible cartouche(illegible) with added finish. Mechanically sound with a shootable bore. (B) Remington Model 1871 marked with "SNY" cartouche for State of New York. Gun was ordered in the early 1880's for the New York Militia. Gun is a three banded single shot musket with full military stock and acceptance marks. Comes with reproduction leather sling. CONDITION: Overall good with metal parts cleaned to a silvery patina. Wood has been cleaned with visible cartouches. Shootable bore with good mechanics.
