Made circa 1928, this Philadelphia produced A.H. Fox Sterlingworth features double triggers and extractors, walnut checkered pistol grip stock with Bakelite buttplate, checkered splinter forearm, and case hardened boxlock action marked Sterlingworth with line engraving. CONDITION: Barrels retain 90% original finish with engine turn on the chambers and mirror bores. Action retains 90% original case hardened colors and perfect screws. Wood retains original finish and sharp checkering under a coat of some sort of old dried oil that the whole gun has been coated with. Mechanically sound and overall a fine, high original condition Sterlingworth which is seldom seen in this level of preservation.
