Circa 1968. A lovely sporting gun with 3 sets of over and under blued steel barrels in 20, 28, and .410 gauge. All barrels have been built with ejectors, narrow ventilated machined ribs and round mid and white front sight beads. (1/A) 20 gauge barrels are 26 - 1/2" with 2 - 3/4" chambers. Chokes are marked as **$ / **$. (2/B) 28 gauge barrels are 26 -1/2" in length with 2 - 3/4" chambers. Chokes marked as **$ / **$ (3/C) .410 barrels have 26 - 1/2" barrels and 2 - 1/2" chambers. chokes marked as **$ / **$; making all barrels Skeet. The 20 and 28 barrels read Browning Arms Company St. Louis Mo & Montreal P.Q." over “MADE IN BELGIUM” on top left. of barrel. Right side reads "SPECIAL STEEL" with shell designation and chamber lengths over patent numbers. The .410 barrels read "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY" on left and on right reads "410 - GAUGE-SHELLS - 2 - 1/2 - MADE IN BELGIUM". All barrels are nicely ordained with engraved floral scroll near breech. The receiver features exceptional full coverage floral and scroll engraving surrounding gold inlaid game bird scenes of ducks on the right, pheasants on the left, and a grouse on the underside. The scenes are also bordered in fine gold wire. Bottom left of receiver is signed "A.WATOIN". The single mechanical gold washed trigger with a tang mounted non-auto safe selector switch has a matching engraved trigger guard with empty shield. The pistol grip stock with fancy scroll bordered checkering has a Browning whiteline ventilated rubber buttpad. The finely checkered beavertail forearms are fitted with matching blacked engraved iron metal with gold pins. This lovely gun and its barrels are housed in a traditional Browning style luggage case with factory paperwork. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrels are all 99% with shiny bores. Action is sound and ejectors are all well timed. Trigger is crisp. Stock and forearms are all very good with few minor handling or storage marks. Case is very good. Nice Set. CP
