1912 vintage Colt Bisley single action revolver, serial number 321776. 5 - 1/2" round barrel chambered in .45 Long Colt with single line Colt Hartford, CT barrel address, blade front sight, and frame notch rear. Matching serial numbers observed on butt, trigger guard, and frame. 2 piece checkered factory gutta percha grips featuring a Rampant Colt in an oval on either side. Factory letter indicates shipment as a blued 5 - 1/2" .45 Colt send to Norvell Shapleigh Hardware Co., St. Louis, Missouri, in a shipment of 2 on February 13th, 1912. CONDITION: Very good, with significant amounts of factory bluing remaining with handling marks and pitting throughout. Frame retains bright case colors in protected areas but is overall turning to a dull gray. Grips are excellent with checkering sharp and no major signs of distress. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand and is tight. Bore is frosted with well defined rifling. TON
