1938 vintage Colt New Service double action revolver, serial number 344320. Blue with 5 - 1/2" barrel. Scalloped blade front, and square notch fixed rear sights. Chambered in .45 Long Colt. Checkered hammer. 2 piece checkered walnut grips with S&W medallions. Lanyard mounted to butt. CONDITION: Excellent plus with 90-95% bright original blue overall. Most blue loss found on backstrap and forestrap. Bore is bright. Action is tight and crisp. Grips are fine showing modest wear with slight rounding at corners. MKS
