Colt Single Action Army revolver .45 Colt caliber, 4 - ¾” barrel, finely oak leaf scroll engraved in classic German style signed Kurt Jaeger – Mainz. Serial number 34262 SA .This mid-1950s single action shows the signature of one of the best recognized master gun makers in Germany at this time. The top of the back strap shows fancy initials G.M.G. The pistol is European rust blued with engraving polished to a satin color to highlight the workmanship. The engraving is also silver inlaid in flush line borders. The pistol is mounted with well made custom Mastodon ivory grips that fit impeccably. The hammer and trigger are engine turned or jeweled. CONDITION: The action is crisp and the bore is excellent. The pistol remains in excellent condition as restored at time of engraving.
